Here Are 10 Things Not To Miss At Showcation: A 3-Day Adult Summer Camp-Meets-Music Festival
|
|
Showcation returns to Camp Ramblewood for its third year as a 3-day adult summer camp-meets-music festival, drawing 1,000+ campers from across the Northeast. Attendees live on-site in cabins, join camp olympic teams, gather in a communal dining hall, and spend their days moving between music, comedy, and 20+ activities spread across the grounds.
Reimagined for the modern day, Showcation blends the structure and nostalgia of sleepaway camp with the energy of an underground festival and the spontaneity of a NYC late-night city party—creating a choose-your-own-adventure weekend where the experience goes far beyond the stages.
Check out the top 10 things not to miss at Showcation 2026!

1. Breakthrough Artists & Cult Favorites
Showcation leans into artists on the rise, breaking through into pop culture as well as powerful headlining acts. This year features acts like femme house artists Mayv and UNIIQU3, NYC indie-rock trio Chanpan, alongside blazing hot names in electronic music like Daniel Allan, Baauer, and In Parallel.

2. Daily Camp Olympics
Every camper is assigned to a team (see here)—Fluffernutter, Laserface, Ramblesquawk, or Snugglebug—each of which has a distinct personality. Together, each team competes in daily games like dodgeball, kickball, even Mario Kart. It starts light and quickly turns into full team pride by the end of the weekend.
|
3. Wet Hot American Pool Party
On Saturday, the pool becomes one of the weekend’s best gathering points, with themed moments and characters from Wet Hot American Summer woven throughout the day. Energy escalates fast—by peak hours it’s packed, unpredictable, and fully unhinged in the best way.
|
4. Clown Cult
Profiled by Vice, Clown Cult is a growing, camp-wide presence that blends performance, absurdity, and participation. Campers can be pulled into it—or seek it out—and once you’re in, you’re part of something that keeps evolving across the weekend.
|
5. Project X House Party
On Friday night, a three-story house on the campgrounds turns into a full-scale rager, packed with DJs, beer pong, and hundreds of partiers moving room to room. Some rooms stay chaotic, others flip into something else entirely.
|
6. Beatbox House (feat. on America’s Got Talent)
World champion beatboxers from Beatbox House (featured on America’s Got Talent) take the stage with fully live sets built entirely from vocal production.
|
7. Comedy Night (Saturday Night)
Saturday provides a full evening dedicated to stand-up and brings in some of the best comics including viral comedian Charlene Kaye (ft. on Netflix Is A Joke Fest), Sean Millea and others.
|
8. Family-Style Dining Hall
Taking inspiration from the summer camp of their youths, the Showcation team decided to get people together for meals twice per day (brunch and dinner). The dining hall is a place where new friendships are formed and old friendships are strengthened. A communal gathering to discuss the absurd things fans got into during the day, and align on their plans for the night. View meal plan options here.

9. The Harlem Shake on a Converted School Bus
A retrofitted school bus doubles as a stage, parked right in the middle of camp. When Baauer drops Harlem Shake, the entire crowd will pile in and around it for a full-camp moment led by one of Trap’s most iconic names.
|
10. Cabin Living & Camp Culture
Stay in a cabin with your crew or opt into a shared setup and meet people fast. Between cabin hangs, team life, and everything happening across the grounds, the social side of the weekend builds naturally.
