Brocarde explains “’Seven Sins’ is about the seven deadly sins of a relationship, the phases of love and passion, how somebody can provoke every emotion that you have to give. Each sin is represented with a different energy and emotion state, it’s supposed to be a journey through every chamber of your soul. The journey starts with lust and captures those few magical sparks of love, from falling to falling out, I poured every emotion I had into it and it still somehow leaves you yearning for more.”
“Seven Sins” has Brocarde teaming up again with Ray Luzier (KoRn), who played drums on her second single “Love Me ’Til I’m Beautiful” (released in 2020).
Ray Luzier says “I love Brocarde’s very unique vocal style and vibe…she has mass aggression to sweetness and everything in between in her voice! The very interesting song arrangements and theatrical segments make the whole package a dynamic, fun adventure to listen to. I see great things ahead for her!”
Ray Luzier & Brocarde”Seven Sins” is from Brocarde’s eagerly awaited, upcoming debut album Good Attendance At Sunday School. The Official Music Video is premiering today at BraveWords!

The Sins:
“Lust” Sin #1
The first sin from the Seven Sins concept, Lust, showcases Brocarde clutching a snake whilst wearing a scarlet dress in her own Garden of Eden set. Brocarde, who describes the song as a manifestation of how the seven deadly sins reveal themselves in personal relationships, says that lust is always the first sin to cross your lips. “Seven Sins is about the seven deadly sins of a relationship, the phases of love and passion, how somebody can provoke every emotion that you have to give. Each sin is represented with a different energy and emotion state, it’s supposed to be a journey through every chamber of your soul. The journey starts with lust and captures those few magical sparks of love, from falling to falling out, I poured every emotion I had into it and it still somehow leaves you yearning for more.” – Brocarde explains.
“Gluttony” Sin #2
The tone turns savage with the arrival of “Gluttony” — the second chapter in the Seven Sins concept. This high-octane, head-banging installment shows Brocarde drenched in blood and viscera, channelling a possessed energy as she dons a butcher’s apron — a stark contrast to Sin #1’s sensual offering. “Filming ‘Gluttony’ was intense,” Brocarde explains. “The ‘blood’ was actually strawberry sauce, and having it constantly poured into my mouth was enough to make me gag. But I wanted to capture that uncontrollable feeding frenzy — the point in toxic relationships where the hunger for more consumes everything in its path. Gluttony’ is by far the heaviest and most aggressive sin, but it’s a vital part of the Seven Sins story. This track allowed me to explore a wide range of emotions and push my sound into darker territory,” she adds.
“Greed” Sin #3
Rising rock star Brocarde released the third chapter in her Seven Sins music video series, a striking mini video for “Greed”. Frantically shaking a piggy bank as hundreds of pennies spill across the deck, she tears into the lyrics with venom: “Greed, Greed, you’ve gotta have it, desire for it all is such a dirty habit!” Before retreating to the kitchen, surrounded by more eggs than you’d ever need to make an omelette, she playfully suggests, “Shall we analyse it all over breakfast?” “Greed really shows my sarcastic side, after the aggression of Gluttony and all the blood and savaging, I wanted to approach Greed from a different place, and make things more playful and light. How do you like your eggs in the morning? With a side of sarcasm and an analytical debrief. “ Brocarde explains. “The funny thing about Seven Sins is that it really shows the different sides of my personality!”
“Sloth” Sin #4
Haunting rock singer Brocarde’s next instalment in her Seven Sins video series.“Sloth” is a powerfully intuitive interpretation of one of the most unmistakably lazy sins. In the newly revealed video snippet, Brocarde takes on “Sloth” as part of the Seven Sins family. The enchanting music video, dusted with a touch of pixie magic, can be viewed here: “I contemplated the notion of sloth, I know for many it means laziness but in terms of relationships I drew parallels to lack of effort and lack of conviction so that’s what inspired those lyrics and the concept.” Brocarde explains. “Sometimes people talk a lot of talk yet struggle to walk the walk, that applies in all areas of life. My personal favourite lyric is satin sheets will smoother ambition, to me that’s quite powerful and hopefully people can interpret that to the wider entertainment industry and draw their own conclusions as to what I’m hinting at,” Brocarde concludes. “Sloth” marked the fourth reveal in a week long musical extravaganza, showcasing Brocarde’s creativity and determination to do things differently.
“Wrath” Sin #5
Wrath” is the fifth installment from her inventive new single “Seven Sins”, which features Ray Luzier from Korn on drums. From the moment Brocarde wrote Seven Sins, she had a clear plan and a unique concept for each song, forming part of the final single set for release on 15th May. “Wrath” features a wild trip on “Brocarde Airways”. Dressed as part marching band member, part cheerleader, part pilot, Brocarde unleashes her own wrath in a fiery, feisty assault that takes place in the aisle of an aeroplane. Brocarde, who has proved time and time again she’s on a journey in search of destination metal, attacks each lyric with vigour and wields her drumsticks like weapons against conformity. “I love a bit of Wrath, every now and then we all need to remember the fire in our bones. I often exhaust myself with ideas and concepts, my passion is endless. I’m not sure if it’s an artistry thing or something deep rooted in ADHD but I’m all in, and in terms of Wrath I definitely tried to captured the wind inside my sails.” Brocarde explains.
“Envy” Sin #6
On day six of a seven-day journey, “Envy” casts a shadow and forces us to reflect not only on how we see the world, but how we see each other. “As a newer artist comparisons are undeniable, everyone seems to second guess you and tell you who you are and who you should be. It’s so important to avoid those comparable, and try to live an existence that is free from envy.” Brocarde explains “We are all unique, some people will love us, some people will hate us, but it’s important to love ourselves and be real no matter what. Envy is a wasted emotion, all we can aspire to be is the best version of ourselves. There will always be someone more fortunate than us, better, but there will also be someone less accomplished.” Brocade explains “Envy, holds a mirror up to these hollow emotions, and tries to smash down those boundaries. I struggle so badly with self-acceptance, I will never be good enough in my own eyes, but in the same breathe I appreciate that what I have to offer comes from my own heart and I wouldn’t change that for anything. When I was younger I always wanted to be someone else, if I can inspire one person on their road o self-acceptance I will be really proud.” Brocarde concludes.
“Pride” Sin #7
Brocarde once again pushed creative boundaries with the announcement of her new single Seven Sins last week. After seven consecutive days of unveiling her new song—one sin at a time—Thursday, March 14 marked the release of the final sin, “Pride”. “Pride for me is the concluding part of the Seven Sins story. It’s the final chapter of the seven sins story so I felt it appropriate to film it surrounded by books in a library setting. Our story is all we have to create, life is a journey that binds our fate.” Brocade explains In the final installment of Brocarde’s Seven Sins musical extravaganza, she sits effortlessly in her ball gown as anticipation builds for what lies ahead in her extraordinary journey. With her debut album just around the corner, the future already feels written.
