Friday Headliners: Big Winter Classic

Geese, one of the much anticipated headliners of Big Winter Classic, played to a sold out -day 2- crowd at The Commonwealth. With the release of their second album, 3D Country, the Brooklyn based band mapped out an extensive fall, through spring tour, in support of the album. With obvious early-00’s dance-punk influences such as The Strokes and Deerhoof, Geese have organically grown their fanbase from coast to coast. This four day festival is the perfect winter break-up and the official start of Calgary’s festival season.
